What do folks use to keep track of their tasks? Especially ones that take more than one day.
I’ve tried a bullet journal, tracking in a daily note via Obsidian, but right now they’re failing me.
Something like a kanban board would be nice, but I’m not really interested in a cloud service for it, so Trello’s out. Possibly the Kanban plugin for Obsidian?

Re:organizing science in society. Organizations as sites and agencies of social transformation
Asking: How can the notion of organization be used to study and shape current societal transformations?
Will #STS and #organization scholars find a common language? Translations welcome, for paper proposals visit: https://nomadit.co.uk/conference/easst-4s2024/p/14181
If you're like us, you want to be organized but...life happens. But if you want to start the week getting a handle on your virtual clutter, we've found an awesome organization workshop that uses open source and privacy respecting tools! Give it a try - or let us know the organization tips and tricks that work for you.
For anyone else (likely ADHD folks) who deal with that: ignore the voice in your head thats telling you the thought you had is important enough that you'll remember it.
Would be cool if we had some kind of a green organization and then you could give them a holler about a company or whatnot and they'd investigate further their stuff and made a report so I could add even more bad stuff on my boycott list!...
'Patience is wearing thin': 5 key takeaways from Trump’s civil fraud trial
(1) "The Trump family's strategy: blame game," (2) "Trump's elder sons signed multiple documents saying the company was giving fair and accurate information in its financial statements," (3) "The paper trail is thicker for Eric Trump," (4) "#Trump#Organization lenders lost out on an estimated $168m because of fudged financial statements," and (5) "Patience is wearing thin in the courtroom."
I'm reading the bullet journal book. I understand the advantages of using paper, but so many of the notes I take are technical details (which I might need to refer to later) that being unable to search might be a deal-breaker.
I'm already using a combination of Google Docs, Trello, and paper that has a lot in common with what Carroll suggests. I may end up just stealing some ideas.
So yeah the revised model honeycomb grid system adapter for my project organisation system is good, I’m going to modify the latch a tiny bit but there won’t be any functionality changes to it, just making something a little stronger. Large and small sizes up on thingiverse.
as always the adapter elements are easily relocatable, though I’m not really sure why that would be attractive in this case. Honeycomb system is about storage, mine’s about organisation and being able to grab a complete project and take it somewhere. But if you want that, you still can!
Thinking now of making one of my base elements with honeycomb on back now so my accessories can be used on their backplane system.
Today we celebrate the #UN's anniversary.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I want to take this day to thank the UN for being an #organization committed to maintaining #international peace and security, fostering friendly relations among #nations, promoting #social progress, higher living standards, and #humanrights, even when they refuse #peace resolutions to save #civilian lives! 🤡
does anyone have any good ideas for ways to utilize the space in this walk in closet, especially above the top shelf (yes, very tall ceilings, yes I'm short, yes I will just keep a step stool in here if I have to).
Before I just had my sweaters and jeans stacked and it was a mess. (but they're rarely worn here so it was ok that they were up high- I just want it to be tidier). thanks!
