When you’re going to move, you can simply unscrew the rack and spackle over the screw holes in about 10 minutes. Home goods stores usually sell kits like these:

I recommend watching a quick 10 minute YouTube video on the procedure just to get acquainted with the process, but it’s relatively simple.

canthidium, Doesn’t seem like it would be an issue. You wouldn’t be walking right along the wall close enough to hit them. Plus if it’s in a corner like in the pic, even less chance. Not my pic, so I wouldn’t know in person.
