My favorite browser : " Extension"

Allows you to create a list of where you have a card (borrowing privileges), and then displays ebook / audiobook availability when you visit certain book pages.

It's very cool and has saved me alot of money (borrowing vs buying).

Learning of the day: If you have dependencies to #Composer #Packages in your #TYPO3 #Extension that cannot also be specified in ext_emconf.php and want to publish your extension in #TER, you have to deliver the dependencies as (#PHAR-)bundle to prevent broken classic Installs. Helmut Hummel has long since published the solution to this problem:

Before I share any URLs with friends, I manually remove any UTM codes/tracking data and replace them with "=butts".

This has been a time consuming process in the past, but not anymore!!!!

BUTTER is a new Chrome extension that cleans any unwanted code from a URL before you share it... and replaces that code with "butts".

Use it for the lulz. Use it for your privacy. Use it to make the web a weirder place!

Mastodon often fails to show up-to-date context and information on posts from remote instances. Substitoot is a browser extension that fixes this.

Now also available for Chrome! Note: the current published Chrome build has a dumb bug where it doesn't start up properly, so please open the "settings" yourself to set it up! The fix is in review.

Enjoy and if you like it, please vote for our next level budget!

Consent-O-Matic is a browser extension that auto-responds to all the and similar consent popups with optimal user preferences.

Unlike the extension "I don't care about cookies" which just accepts all cookies, Consent-O-Matic clicks the prompts on your behalf to reject most of the cookies. You can also choose what to accept/reject in the preferences.

Available for Firefox, Chrome and others.

I've been using this on Firefox :firefox: for quite sometime now and it works great!

Their Github page has links to official extension stores: https://github.com/cavi-au/Consent-O-Matic#introduction

I think I just found a #gamechanger in my life that might finally help me get rid of #TMTS (Too #Many #Tabs Syndrome):

Ingredients:

Workflow:

  • Collect Tabs that "will be needed later" in one window
  • Create new file via a #zettelkasten style "tabstash template"
  • copy & paste urls + give some context
  • close tabs

So, I've noticed that the Dark Reader on mobile (android) allows me to bypass on many news sites. It appears to work on , , and others. I don't understand why it happens, but it was a pleasant discovery!

imo, as a non-tech person, I think it has to do with in article ? There are no images if you use Dark Reader, and in my , when I use a blocker, it blurs images and bypasses most paywalls 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've created a that allows one to (1) select which browser extensions to disable and (2) which sites to disable the extensions on.

Purpose is two-fold:

(use at your own risk please)

  1. : You can visit banking sites, etc. without needing to manually disable browser extensions.

  2. : On some sites certain functionality isn't helpful, for example, I don't want highlighting extensions to operate on pages, Perlego has built-in highlighting.

Nice to see that my first ever published #TYPO3 #extension EXT:feed_display is now used more and more. In the last months there was a significant increase in download numbers. Maybe this correlates with the increasing usage of TYPO3 #v12?

Merci infiniment ! #mail #filtre
