I'M CURIOUS what young voters out there calling "" think of offering to "scrap" U.S. policy in exchange for a $1 BILLION dollar donation to his campaign should he be reelected.

I'm not quite sure how openly asking for a bribe... promising to SELL the WH to the highest bidder... isn't "immoral" at best and highly illegal as worst. 🤨

Conservative Plan Calls for Dozens of Executions if Trump Wins (www.thedailybeast.com)

A conservative plan for Donald Trump’s potential transition into the presidency calls for dozens of prisoners to be executed, according to HuffPost. An 887-page plan by Project 2025, led by the ultra-conservative Heritage Foundation, says that if elected, Trump should make a concerted effort to execute the remaining 40...

This is why it’s especially irritating when the bothsiderists go on with the stuff, or the tankies go on with the thing, or the handwringing over whether journalists should side with democracy and so on.

This stuff is right out in the open. Do bothsiderists, tankies or journalists think they’ll be safe under this kind of thing?

@rbreich Why is the default "you're not going to get more weapons" and not "make peace with your neighbors" Why are we giving weapons to Israel in the first place? Why don't you call for the sanction of Israel NOW because of the multitude of atrocities their country has committed? Israel is a genocidal state. Why would we support that? What benefit does an American get from supporting the death of the families of the Palestinians?

Did Israel coordinate with Egypt before reoccupying the Rafah crossing? - Israel's control of the Philadelphi Corridor raises questions on whether key peace agreements with Cairo are at stake (Middle East Eye, 2024-05-07)
———

“Israel's control of the Rafah crossing may present a threat to a September 2005 agreement with , known as the Philadelphi Accord.”

“‘Israel occupying Rafah means occupying the Gaza side of the Philadelphi Corridor, which would be a violation of the 2005 addendum to the 1979 peace treaty,’ International Crisis Group analyst Joost Hiltermann told Middle East Eye.

"’It is doubtful that the Egyptians would have greenlighted this.’

“An Egyptian military source claimed that Egypt has not authorised the Rafah crossing operation…”

I'm sure the BS machines of Israeli apologists and genocide enablers will keep on sharing the same baseless garbage about the "generous" deal that and the genocide apologist Blinken have negotiated.

Who wants to bet they completely ignore this and "focus" on the made up "deal" instead?
