Haven't felt too bad today. No aches, no fever. Still very little energy, but more than yesterday. My back hurts, but pretty sure that's unrelated. Can't tell if the neck pain is from back pain radiating; or from swollen lymph node at the base of my neck on side where I got the shot; or from a combo.

Checker seems a little... off. So, I bought a bunch of boxes that were roughly 6" x 6" x 2". And then 2 that were more like 5" x 8" x 2". She double bags and then for some reason is having the hardest time fitting SQUARE boxes in a bag with square sides.

So much for getting the new Covid booster shot from Walmart today.
Walmart is supposed to be part of the Bridge Access Program where people with no insurance can get the shot for free. But they had clue it even existed and couldn't figure out a way to enter billing information so that the wife and I could get it for free. We weren't going to pay $155 per shot either.

Update on covid vaccine: seems like the easiest one. A little restlessness, I got up and did some stretching to get the circulation going, then back to bed, that was it. Arm's a little sore.
Idle Vaccine Thought: Of the six COVID vaccine shot's I've received, two have left me sick as a dog, as they say. Too weak to even get up. Yesterday's shot was one of those with side effects for me overnight.
I've read where there's no predicting who and how it will affect. Doctors say it's a crap shoot.
But I will not be deterred by being sick for a few hours. No matter how bad the dog.
To answer the question, yes you should get a Covid booster. Some good news, The mortality rate continues to drop with each strain. But it's not clear if it's because Covid's getting weaker, or because immunity has strengthened in the population. Probably probably a bit of both. So by getting the boosters, we are all helping lower that mortality rate, and protecting our neighbors. #covid #EG.5 #BA.2.86 #covidBooster
Went to CVS for my covid booster and they’d silently canceled the appointment. They did offer me the flu shot I’d signed up for, but apparently my insurance told them not to cover it, so it would be $50 for something that’ll be free at a doctor’s office. Wonderful medical system we’ve got here, the free market delivering better results than any government run system could and I only have to pay hundreds of dollars a month for this privilege.
My local Chicago news says there's been a lot of confusion about insurance coverage for the new #CovidBoosterShot. If you call your insurance company yourself, you might be able to get it fixed. But too many of the insurers have not yet updated their systems to include the new CDC guidelines about the latest shot, so a lot of folks are getting automatically rejected.
I'm getting ready to head to Walgreens for my updated 2023 COVID-19 Pfizer BioNtech (COMIRNATY) booster shot. My husband got his earlier today and says his arm doesn't hurt. Just went for my flu jab and the nice nurse asked me about getting the Covid jab too. Explained I live with my son who is on immuno suppressants and therefore clinically vulnerable so yes I wanted the Covid jab, but as I am not over 65 thought I wouldn't be eligible this year. No problem said the nurse and changed my details. Got both vaccines. I had phoned NHS Inform who were no help at all. Call to action! The #CDC has a public comment open; let it know that you want the new #COVIDBoosters to be recommended for everyone, not just the most vulnerable.
Remember: the higher the percentage of vaccinated and boosted people, the lower risk for vulnerable people.
Go forth and give the CDC hell! demand protection for everyone.

The above post has a link to the CDC's page where they're taking comments for the next two days about the new Covid booster. Can you ask you ask your followers to leave comments that the booster should be available to everyone regardless of age or medical conditions?
