A comprehensive understanding of the biomarkers involved is necessary for the development of pathogenesis-based therapies and the repurposing of the already available therapies. 🫀The current available treatments incl glucocorticoids, intravenous immunoglobins , interleukin antagonists, rituximab, colchicine,& aldose reductase inhibitor AT001, along w inotropes & oxygen support. Despite these therapies, reports of mortality in several studies despite treatment with these Rx. imply the importance of discovering new treatment strategies. Hence, it is recommended that further research must be carried out in patients with #myocarditis.

Study found that the greater risk of developing #longCOVID was also likely related to higher levels of fatigue in this group of people with joint hypermobility. Around 3 percent of 🇬🇧 population do not fully recover from #COVID, so #longCOVID is a significant problem and is likely to remain so. It is a significant public health issue.

cognitive dysfunction has been described in 43% of patients and associated with younger age . Findings indicate a potential ongoing injury affecting & following negativization,still evident 10 mths after negativization.This phenomenon appears to be more pronounced in individuals experiencing cognitive impairment 1 wk post infection.
