We have cruise ships going by again now, as the season in Alaska has opened up. One went by and you could hear thumping music. The week of April 20th officially had the lowest number of deaths per week since the beginning of the #Covid pandemic at 443. The estimated numbers for the next 3 weeks look to be even lower. The last time we anywhere near this low was in the week of July 7th and immediately swung back up again. Fingers crossed that this downward trend holds for a little while and doesn't go back up until at least when the numbers began to rise last year.

Tristesse, et aussi la rage qui me gagne : tous ces décès liés au #COVID dont on ne parle surtout pas, surtout plus. Ce monsieur a sûrement été contaminé "banalement", en allant aux courses, en allant au ciné, en allant boire un coup avec son entourage, en pensant que « le COVID c'est fini » alors en ne se protégeant pas d'un simple masque FFP2, de testing, de précaution vis-à-vis des aérations des lieux… bref d'une attention collective.
