@virtualbri @trekmovie woah, I somehow completely missed that this was a thing! And great timing—we're binging TOS (first time for her) and I can't wait to get her to the movies. For a first-time viewer, would you recommend this version? I've kind of already prepped her for obvious matte lines, but this version sounds pretty great.

@andrewortwein @trekmovie The 2022 Director's Edition is the best. Best color and transfer, some improved vfx, and story tweaks that make it all flow better. I was pleasantly surprised
