When you say or ask for something regarding open source, add "for me" to the end of the sentence. If that makes it sound rude, then consider rephrasing.

Just watched a video on YouTube about the Linux file system and I’m amazed at how simple and elegant it is. Each folder has a clear purpose. Everything’s a file. Everything’s accounted for.
Now I’m not a very technical person and I probably couldn’t fix something right away if it broke. But I didn’t have anybody knowledgeable enough to help when I experimented with it nearly two decades ago. So there’s hope for me yet.
