Wäre wirklich klasse, wenn Verbände hier Inklusion in Form von Bildbeschreibungen mitdenken würden (und auch am Besten im echten Leben auch).

Wir müssen doch solidarisch sein und inklusiv. Auch wenn es kein absichtlicher Ausschluss ist, ist es dennoch ein Ausschluss einer Gruppe von Menschen. Das können wir doch besser, oder?

Was Merz zu Migration und Schule sagt, ist an populistischer Plumpheit kaum zu überbieten! Um Bildungsmängel und den Fachkräftemangel zu bewältigen, brauchen wir keine plumpe Abwehr von Migration, sondern eine Entschlossenheit für ihr Gelingen und für die Potenziale derer, die schon hier sind.

@eskensaskia wäre klasse wenn unser Kanzler dann nicht auch mit einstimmen würde in die populistischen Töne. So gewinnt die SPD keine Stimmen, ganz im Gegenteil. Aber vielleicht möchte die SPD auch einfach keine Stimmen mehr. Das Land hätte eine echte sozialdemokratische Partei dringend nötig, schade dass die SPD nicht diese Partei sein möchte..

Ah Lindner und Buschmann und wollen Leistungen für Asylbewerber kürzen, weil sie denken, die bekommen zu viel. Könnten nicht ein Finanz- und Justizminister eher was gegen Steuerhinterziehung tun? Ich weiß, crazy idea, die im Gegensatz zum billigen Populismus auch tatsächlich Geld bringen würde..

Australiens Indigene sollten mit einer Verfassungsänderung mehr politischen Einfluss bekommen. Doch eine Mehrheit stimmte in einem Referendum gegen das Vorhaben. Für Premier Albanese ist es eine schwere Niederlage.

In Deutschland sind im ersten Halbjahr so viele Asylanträge gestellt worden, wie seit sieben Jahren nicht. Bundesweit klagen Kommunen, dass sie an ihre Belastungsgrenzen stoßen und keine Menschen mehr aufnehmen können.

Gut zwei Drittel der Teilnehmenden an einer #NDRfragt-Umfrage machen sich Sorgen, dass derzeit zu viele Migranten nach Deutschland kommen. Viele fühlen sich von ihren Landesregierungen nicht ernst genommen.

@Sheril are there regions where this could be more sustainable than vegan diets? I mean also we are just learning that insects like bees feel joy and pain so I really don't see insects as a better solution here from the ethical point of view.

@tagesschau gab's schon zu meiner Diplomanden-Zeit. Wir hatten auch einen Königstreuen, heute würde man vermutlich Reichsbürger sagen, bei uns der rot anlief wenn man nur von den Grünen sprach. Windkraft war auch damals schon böse... Manche ändern sich einfach nicht, es ist erschreckend wie einfach Menschen bereit sind Gewalt auszuüben..

@Sheril being a vegan is certainly the most important thing I think. Having your money at a green bank (don't know if there are comparable banks in the states), green electricity provider, etc. Those are all "passive" things. Going to demonstrations, show your support for fossil industry critical groups, help put pressure on investors to divest, etc. etc. So many options

@Tekchip @arstechnica handing over to where? Except the persons you are talking to. For groups I understand this but except from this I only have contacts I know personally. But I know other people use messengers differently. And for the rest, then authorities know I am using signal in the worst case. Why does that bother you when there's no metadata or content or the conversations for anyone to look at?

Their blue blood contains Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) which clumps at contact with bacterial toxins. They are caught for their blood to test sterility of medical equipment & injections.

Unfortunately the harvest is unsustainable & populations are in decline. An effective synthetic substitute has been around for 2 decades & we just need the biomedical industry to switch.
