@thelinuxcast I listened to the marvel ones. Great analysis. I just want to add that apart from James Bond, there's an example of a character in TV that spans so many actors. Doctor Who was played by 15 actors and has been going since 1963. They realized earlier on that the first Doctor is getting older so they made this ability to change and regenerate part of the character itself. Doctor Who has been bought by Disney so I hope they do a better job with it for a change.

@thelinuxcast It saved me so many times from compiling new versions of software and having to manually check for updates. I am on Debian and running the new version of Neovim from Arch. It's so seameless. It's also using much less space than Flatpak. O completely moved away from Flatpak now because I was having so many issues.

    I urge people to ditch #fedora. Since #redhat is close sourcing there is no reason to be their free testers.
    What's the relation? Fedora is upstream source for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

    @bragefuglseth @kasra_mp it's not closed source it's just a total dick move that we shouldn't support. This should be seen in the larger context of killing CentOS, laying off the Fedora project manager, killing the open source website, general layoffs all over the place, not even communicating to Alma and Rocky what is going on until they accidentally discovered it. Arguing semantics doesn't help anyone. It might as well be closed source because they are doing some gymnastics around the GPL

    So I've moved to Leap from Tumbleweed. I spent the day in the forums trying to solve the issues I had, but didn't get very far.

    So hopefully, Leap will work better. If it doesn't I'm going to just install a Debian-based distro.

    Distrohopping is fun... At first. And then you just get tired of it. I have work todo.

    I didn't realize just how much I missed .

    No hatin' on , but man, this is such smooth, clean, elegant desktop.
    It adapts to my crazy brain almost as well (possibly better *) than .

    *The only thing I don't like about i3 is that floating windows always float above tiled windows. It would be nice if they could be brought above and below freely, but they're on a layer that's permanently above anything tiled. Minor niggle, though.
