Tomorrow is April 25th.
Tomorrow I will write something in Italian, but this morning I write in English because I want to explain the meaning of April 25th to those who live outside Italy.

Tomorrow we will celebrate Freedom from Fascism.
It has been a national holiday since Italy has been a republic, that is, since the end of the Second World War.
Our (fascist) government will probably try – as it did last year – to downplay it by calling it Freedom from War.

There are several reasons I can understand for not adding a description, but this one doesn't really make sense.

A people is a multitude of individuals, good, bad and normal.

The right to think, doubt and ask and search is the most important right we have, it should never be given up.

Oggi in tavola: gnocchi di malga. 😋😋😋

(Si fa una pastella morbida di acqua, farina e sale. Eventualmente formaggio grattugiato, meglio se Monte Veronese stagionato.
Con il classico metodo di dito e cucchiaio si fanno cadere dei gnocchetti di pastella in acqua bollente salata.
Quando vengono a galla si tirano su con un colino e si passano in padella con abbondante burro.
Condire con formaggio grattugiato, l'ideale è la ricotta affumicata.)

Ho comprato il vaccino dell'influenza, settimana prossima ho appuntamento dal medico per farlo, assieme a marito a cui lo passano gratis. Ok. Fantastico.

Ho chiesto al medico per il vaccino del Covid, dice che "boh, non si capisce niente, chiedi in farmacia."
In farmacia dice che che "boh, dobbiamo ancora decidere se lo facciamo o no, comunque magari settimana prossima ne sappiamo di più lascia il nome e magari chiedi a qualche altra farmacia...".
