Kirjoittelin blogiin kantaaottavan tekstin, enkä keksinyt otsikkoa. Laitoin otsikoksi paikkaa pitämään: "Otsikko tähän". Tajusin heti, että tässähän on älyttömän hyvä otsikko, koska teksti on aiheeltaan hakukone- ja algoritmikriittinen.

Kun kirjoitan blogitekstiä, nakuttelen toisinaan hyvästä ja iskevästäkin otsikosta "hakukoneystävällisemmän". Kaikki tavoitteellista sisällöntuotantoa ja jossain määrin digimarkkinointia tekevät tietävät mistä puhun, otsikkoon ja leipikseen mietitään niitä avainsanoja, jotta teksti näkyy Googlessa. Tämä on niin väärin.

Netti on täynnä tylsää paskaa, kaikki saitit näyttävät ja haisevat samalta ja verkkosivut kilpailevat Googlen huomiosta. Haluan olla omalta osaltani muuttamassa tätä kulttuuria. Suunnitellaanko sivustoja enemmän ihmisille, eikä koneille?

I don't get why people seem surprised that "news" are about emotional stories (e.g. Titanic submarine) and not what’s actually important that's happening in the world (e.g. migrant deaths, climate catastrophe).

It's always more or less been like this.

The "news" publications won't change--it's literally what they do: serve up emotions to get you to read and watch so they can sell advertising space.

The only way to not have this in your life is to not consume it.

After three and a half hours of pinning and hot gluing the LED string in place, Squishy Dodecahedron is assembled!

A soft blue fleece dodecahedron about the size of a soccer ball with a pattern of 16 translucent 3D printed diffusers on each side. The power cord extending from the zippered closure in the dodecahedron is plugged into a USB power pack and colorful patterns are displayed by the diffusers as the hands roll and squish the polyhedron.
