@robin if "Chrome" includes "Chromium" then the answer is: speed. Mostly JS engine speed. And it's almost a magnitude difference which is way too much.
“It’s Mark. I apologize for this month’s payment outage, which may impact your revenue. As a valued merchant, your bills matter and I am committed to doing better.”
@mjgardner dunno about USA but here around we have a committed service level in the ToS and ISP pays be if they doesn't provide minimal service according to their SLA. I have gotten refunds a couple of times, and there was a 6 months period when I used the net (what's left of it anyway) for free.
@Naughtylus curious amount of hostility in the bugreport. I haven't checked whether my filesystem would handle 8 EB sized sparse file but if yes, it could be input to the code. And it seems to be still an overflow bug, whether meaningless or not. 😔 Fixing it probably would take 5 seconds, much less than those 15 comments on the issue.
IMO
@evan Do I see right that nobody (apart from maybe @bonfire) has a plan, they are just wishful thinking, or doing what they do anyway?
That what's my answer meant: I do not have a specific plan, I handle it as any other misinformation, and if it's beyond my moderation capacity then I'll replan.
@amapanda not sure what you mean. How would the editor know what changes you want to put into a changeset?
A changeset is a container of consistent changes, if you make unconsistent changes and expect the editor to sort it for ya, well, it does not exist. 🙂
You have "Upload selection", if you wish.
@hypolite@renedario it's real though, there is no universal time, it has been (kind of) proven already. And even beyond physics time observation is also non-constant, so your sense of time may (and does) speed up and slow down almost constantly.
So it works. (A Sandevistan helps anyway.)
@hypolite I remember at least one research where they checked the healing speed of patients in various mental state and happy, relaxed, well fed and slept people heal faster, while stress make it heal slower. Sure, probably it is related to the energy balance but it seems that your biological process can be sped up or slowed down as well.
But yeah, slow acclimatisation makes time crawl.
@hypolite …"feeling time slow" reminds me a description of a weapon in the mentioned Cyberpunk2077 (namely the Caretaker's Spade):
"it is not lethal but they will wish it was"
@hypolite except in said game non-lethal weapon animations aren't quite thought out so it's possible to shoot someone with a non-lethal gun and their limbs will cover the whole area yet they're not dead, only stunned. 😆
@hypolite I'm laughing, I had exactly the same feeling, like, "god man, I do not want to kill you, why don't you get the hint from that I only use my fists?" The game don't support non-killing instincts.
The opposite was Metal Gear Solid V, which is (by default) a sneak game and disprefers killing, but for me it was too hard to sneak... (I haven't even finished it for that, even that it was very well done.)
@hypolite I had some other Deus Ex but I did not like it at all, apart from the fact that it required more GPU power than I had. But yes, it was also kind of stealth. I usually prefer point&click adventures ;-)
Still, I liked the three Tomb Raider game due to their beautiful graphics, but it was a killing spree. 😕
