Boah selten so angepisst wie bei sowas. Es gibt so viele Regelungslücken für scheiß Verhalten aber 20 Minuten Rasenmähen ist zu viel. Deutschland ey.

Well #Debian I'm not sure I agree with your decision to automatically set up systemd-boot as my UEFI boot manager just because I'm installing the systemd-boot package.

I literally just wanted to read the manpage and play around with bootctl.

I especially disagree with your decision to first fuck with my existing, working GRUB2 installation and then copy kernel and initrd to /boot/efi, which turns out to be not large enough on my system, leading to a somewhat broken boot setup.

#Linux #CLI users! I'm curious how many of us are using "modern", "enhanced", "reimagined" versions of classic command-line tools. Think bat instead of cat, rg instead of grep, exa instead of ls.

If you don't use them, why? Is the installation overhead too much, e.g. because you're using a lot of machines? Does your brain need to stay compatible with the standard tools for some reason?

Feel free to write a reply, the poll can't possibly cover everything :)

Ich habe nen Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300i Duplex-Einzugscanner. Früher hab ich unter Windows den proprietären Treiber benutzt, um in PDFs zu scannen, mit OCR. Wenn ich mal nen Kassenzettel scanne, erkennt die Software das und macht automatisch ein sehr schmales PDF daraus.

Wir sind gestern 470 km mit dem Elektroauto gefahren: Von einem Dorf nahe Amsterdam bis nach Simpelveld in Südlimburg, einmal durch die ganzen Niederlande.

Das Auto weiß von einem Energieverbrauch von 79.15 kWh zu berichten, für einen Durchschnittsverbrauch von 16.8 kWh/100 km.

Das ist der Energiegehalt von 2l Benzin (2.19 Euro/l) oder 1.6l Diesel (1.77 Euro/l bei der Tanke bei uns um die Ecke).

Geladen wurden 44.55kWh bei Fastned für 0.69 Euro/kWh = 30.73 Euro plus 34.6kWh daheim (kostenlos)
