Höre gerade - etwas untypisch für mich - Heisskalt. Alternative Rock.

Hat aber stellenweise sehr verzweifelte, düstere Stellen, die sich meiner Meinung nach super zu nem Black Metal ausbauen ließen 😎 [1]

Friday night - Backstage in Munich - Part 1
Four Stroke Baron opened up the evening ... didn't know them and I'll leave it there. Sorry guys.
Then The Hirsch Effekt entered the stage and conquered the audience immediately. What an energetic performance. Live their songs are even more impressive than on the albums. When they finished their set I thought: Caligula's Horse will have a hard time topping that.

@bestiaexmachina jepp! Und man kann dort auch Filme etc ablegen. Wenn man sie z.B. über Mediathekviewweb von den ÖR Mediatheken heruntergeladen hat ;-)

Ich habe es auf einem Rock64 Board laufen. Das war damals stärker als ein Raspi. Mittlerweile würde ich zu etwas leistungsfähigerem greifen. Das Ding ist schon ca 6 Jahre alt und tut sich mit Jellyfin mittlerweile ziemlich hart.

Vllt ein Raspi 5? Oder einen kleinen Intel NUC oder so. Der kann dann auch Video Transcoding ...

@mdosch @konrad Jellyfin ist eine Software zur Medienverwaltung und Streaming. Kann DLNA und hat ne Weboberfläche sowie Apps für den Zugriff.

Damit kann man sich - wenn man es so nennen will - sein eigenes kleines Spotify aufbauen mit eigenen mp3s oder flacs.

Boah, ist Dropbox asozial geworden. Früher konnte man über einen Klick auf einen Share-Link einfach die geteilte Datei herunterladen.

Mittlerweile wird so getan, als müsse man sich einloggen. Darunter dann ein kleiner Link, über den es doch auch ohne Account geht. Und das 2x.

Ziemlich aufdringlich, nervig und irreführend.

I am often asked for templates for emails aimed at inviting new users and bands to our metalhead.club.

While I can understand that it's easier to use a template, customize it if necessary and send it, I don't think it's particularly useful at the moment.

Because: Recycled texts wear out. Bands don't want to receive the same email 10 times under different names and don't want to feel like they're talking to a machine. Personal recommendations and personal communication are important.
