I am often asked for templates for emails aimed at inviting new users and bands to our metalhead.club.
While I can understand that it's easier to use a template, customize it if necessary and send it, I don't think it's particularly useful at the moment.
Because: Recycled texts wear out. Bands don't want to receive the same email 10 times under different names and don't want to feel like they're talking to a machine. Personal recommendations and personal communication are important.
metalhead.club is free of advertising. We pay our server bills by asking our users for donations.
We do not sell user data and do not use it for tracking / user analysis
The servers are 100% powered by green electricity
metalhead.club is part of Mastodon, a decentralized and open-source concept for modern social networks. No billionaires, no big companies, everything is run by individuals or small businesses.
Second problem: spam filters will recognize our texts as mass mailings at some point and wonder whether they might be spam. We want to avoid that at all costs.
So do me a favor and try to come up with your own text if you want to recruit bands :-)
