Hi!

I have been wandering the Fediverse since November 2022 and just landed here at Calkey.social because @atomicpoet made it sound so cool.

I am studying Human Systems Engineering at Arizona State University through their online program.

I love sushi, udon noodles and boba tea.

I like retro gaming and all nerdy computer stuff.

I have a cute puppy and a MacBookPro M1, so I'm set.

I am obsessed with Japan and hope to visit one day.

I love movies, 80s music and jigsaw puzzles.

I collect Thich Nhat Hanh books.

Do you all have UFO houses where you live?

Apparently there are around 60 of these Futuro houses scattered around the globe.

This one is in Pensacola Beach, FL which means it has withstood dozens of hurricanes over the years.

The owners put a little Alien in the windows and it's in a different place each time I drive past.

One of my favorite foods from Louisiana, my first home on Earth, is crawfish etouffeé and now I can type the word correctly with the accent mark. My Cajun Martian heart is so happy. There is a lot of French, Spanish & African influence in the patois of Louisiana and I like to type the words with the appropriate accent marks.
Lousiana is a special place on Earth with very rich cultural heritage and, Martian hands down, the very best food and music.
