I just fired up my radio on 20 meters and the first thing I hear is WB3ATF shilling for DJT.

Every time he calls CQ he mentions DJT will be next president of the United States.

It’s bordering on misusing the frequency.

Privacy tip: When you sell or trade-in a vehicle, remember to erase all of your data from the in-car electronics. The car dealerships will NOT do this, although they should be required to.

This wasn’t done for the last few vehicles I’ve purchased. I know one previous owners name, where she lives, what her taste in music is, where her dad lives (and how often she visited him), and what restaurants she often went to. In the wrong hands, this is dangerous as hell.

Generation X started life in this world without the internet and I foresee a day when many people within Generation X get fed up and disconnect their internet and destroy their smartphones. It simply isn’t worth it anymore.

I don’t subscribe to cable TV, Netflix, Hulu or another video delivery service. My MP3 collection is huge and is stored locally. What I need is electricity, water and sewer. I have HD and FM radio as well as ham radio. The rest can simply be turned off.

Imagine paying $120 dollars a month for home internet to not have basic privacy. Imagine purchasing a $1,500 “Smart TV” so that a company can disable features at will. Imagine a world where you “purchase” video and music content only to find out the company invokes DRM to revoke your authorization to watch it at a later date and finally imagine a world where you purchase a 40 thousand dollar automobile and it tracks your every moment and records everything you say.

Enough is enough.

heard back from the EU rights lawyers at Your Europe Advice (originally mentioned here: https://peoplemaking.games/@eniko/112045032873283751) and the first line reads:

"You are correct in your assessment."

In short as my research showed the right to residence for an EU national and their family (regardless of nationality) is a fundamental right granted to them by EU treaty and is not granted by the application for residence in a member state. Instead such application is merely an administrative formality that serves of proof of that right

Further, EU nationals (or their immediate family) cannot be expelled unless they pose a genuine, present and sufficiently serious threat to public policy or security. Failing to meet an administrative obligation does not rise to this level

We're safe, the law is on our side, and we have a document from an EU rights lawyer citing precedent from a dozen cases saying so
