I just got done watching the Weird Al biopic, “Weird”.
I liked it a lot. Obviously they take one or two liberties with the story, but I’m a big fan of the silly and absurd Weird Al sense of humor, so it was right up my alley — UHF was a formative influence on me.
Also, Daniel Radcliffe was a lot of fun in the title role.
85 / 100, highly recommend if you like silly humor or know what happens when you find the marble in the oatmeal.
An emotionally compelling duet from "Weird Al" Yankovic and Kate Winslet on a subject near and dear to my heart. "I Need a Nap" is everything you'd expect from a Sandra Boynton song. https://youtu.be/g3Bd4AydIzg

Paul McCartney Says He Came Up with “Sgt. Pepper” After Mishearing 'Salt and Pepper'

So I just met Kathleen Battle and Weird Al Yankovic at a executive party tonight and I DONT EVEN CARE ABOUT BILLIE EILLISH AND THE COOL KIDS BEING THERE OMG #WEIRDAL AND MY FAVORITE MODERN #OPERA SINGER AT THE SAME TIME
I keep seeing "Weird Al" as "Weird AI" (depending on your font, you probably won't be able to tell the difference). If he doesn't use that on his next album, I'll be very surprised. Also - good to see him having a nice dig at the exploitative #music#streaming platform, the name of which I shall not darken this toot with. #WeirdAl
@ike_seblon one of the first albums I ever purchased on cassette was Weird Al Yankovic and Wendy Carlos doing a rendition of Peter and the Wolf.
It certainly wasn't the Weird Al album I was hoping to purchase, but given that I was living in an area kind of distant from decent music vendors, I was grateful to find anything at all. Moreover, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome anyway!
When worlds collide!
I was watching #LegalEagle and paused for a moment... which lead me to recall #WeirdAl which lead me to make this #VerySmartMeme for no reason at all. #memes
You are welcome. It means a lot for me to share my wisdom and talent.
When I started calling #dialup#BBS systems around age 11, I used the handle "POTPURI". A shortened form of "potpourri." The reason for the shortened spelling is that I first used it when playing Summer Games on the #C64 with our family. I wanted to come up with a funny name and thought of the line from the #WeirdAl song "I Lost on Jeopardy" that said, "I took potpourri for one hundred and then my head started to spin..." but the whole word wouldn't fit into the character limit. This was incredibly funny to 10/11 year old Matt.
