I was on a bus today and it went past a shop I want to buy from things from. I looked up the shop in OSMAnd+ (installed from F-Droid) - with no net connection - and not only did the map have the correct shop, in the correct place, clicking on it showed me a link to the website.
OK @fdroidorg this is just weird. The official Mastodon client depends on non-free services? Sometimes a bit more information could be helpful. #FLOSS#FDroid#Mastodon
👉 Popular #Android Simple Mobile Tools with apps like Simple Contacts, Simple File Manager etc. (#FOSS, GPL3 with paid Pro versions) have been sold to ZipoApps as confirmed by creator Tibor Kaputa on github. ZipoApps are known for "sourcing, buying, "evolving" apps - their words) - and monetizing them. You may want to adjust your automatic update settings, do your own research and consider open source alternatives.
Hello 👋, Just came across this project, and saw the app being advertised as open source, like on this page where it's advertised as "100% open source". Looking at the app repo though, the licensing...
Funktioniert sehr gut. #Navigation
The coming release of #Fedilab fixes annoying crashes. We will add the support to Android 14 and also, we will add a fix that will prevent issues with #NTFY (ntfy.sh for push notifications - #Fdroid release is only impacted).
We will publish that release this week in our custom Fdroid repo and for Google beta testers.
("You": "Material Design 3 (You)" which all 3 apps use)
Special note on updated apps: version 1.17 of our client was released and will show you reasons why an anti-feature was applied. Not yet for all apps, though (manual work we're still have to perform).
I like ProtonMail, but it's a shame that they provide latest app versions for Android quickly and constantly only via Google Play store – as someone who uses their Github Releases, I'm still locked in with v3.0.17 :sad_cat:
It's not to say they shouldn't, but for all their talk about being anti-Google and anti-big tech (and rightly so!), they still don't provide a libre version, and a stable APK release out of Google Play store
Just a heads-up that #Snikket#Android has been pulled by #Google from the store. We'll work on restoring it once we figure out their (as usual) nonsensical complaints. Apologies to everyone affected. Please look at #FDroid and free yourself.
Today's excuse for delisting yet another #XMPP app?
