I feel like #game#design is still trapped in the 1980s. The paradigm of "play, die, repeat" was invented because games like #Pacman only had one map. The only way to make the game last was through escalating difficulty.
Now we have massive, multiplayer, persistent worlds where we... play, die, repeat. It's been 40 years!
Just give me a game with an amazing universe where I'm rewarded for #exploring every lush inch of it. You don't need the death cycle to keep games engaging anymore.
We went out on a long hike yesterday. It was really beautiful, but the trail was a lot more hilly than we thought. It was still nice to enjoy some fresh air.
During the winter season I occasionally go off the beaten path exploring the woods nearby.
When I found this pedal tractor in the woods, I had flashbacks to the time when I used to ride on the these that was passed down from the family. It makes me wonder what life was back then where I found this
I had one of these growing up. Mine was green like the John Deere. Did you have one growing up?
From time to time I will go exploring in the woods.
I tend to find a lot of glass that is mostly mason jars and older version of the coke bottles. Once in a while I will find a oil can where I can see the label pretty good. This particular was lying next to some old machinery.
During one of our exploring trips around the coast, we never finished the continuous trails on the south side of Antigonish. That's why we went back. You can't brag about places you've never been.
I have more photos, and I'll never run out of places to show off. I don't #TravelBlog dining experiences. We personally evaluated every beach, shore, wild islands, trails, and wilderness of #NovaScotia. That's the real experience. #WAYCTV
More big rocks. I lost all my curated text. We're located now near Monk's Head, the point of where our last visit ran out. All the trails to the West have been covered. We return to finish the easterly route through Pomquet.
