Tomorrow I will attend an Indian Classical Music event at Southbank Centre, London. It must have been 6-7 years since I was in a live concert of Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt Ji, and I have an excellent memory of every live performance I have been of his. So I am looking forward to making another memory of a lifetime
"A 100% virtual, completely free event bringing together like-minded application developers, open source project maintainers, and the extended network of people who care most about their work."
"How do we fix the accidental supply chain that open source has become in a way that benefits both the open source creators and the organizations that rely on their work?"
The Hohner Avenue Porch Party is tomorrow (Saturday) from 3 to 8 pm!
"Happ is all about the music and the musicians that make it. Every year we are blown away by the support of local musicians. It's just an amazing testament to how people can build good things together."
✍️ I am committed to diversity and inclusion, including people with disabilities, chronic illness, and caregivers, therefore I pledge to only participate in or organize events that have robust Health and Safety policies.
Is there an events instance (eg of @mobilizon or @gancio) we can use to keep track of #fediverse related events? Both in-person gatherings and online meetings.
I’m conscious that with the growth of interest in the fediverse, and in the number of related events being independently organised (which is great!), we’re going to need a canonical place to keep track of them. So why not dogfood the emerging federated events system!

💁🏻♀️ It's my turn to make my #introduction: I’m Mélina Cordeau, PhD student in #neuroscience at Institut de Neurosciences de la Timone in #Marseille. 🙉 My PhD project is centered on the #voice#perception in #human and #macaque. I use #MRI : anatomical, functional and diffusion data, to understand the structure-function relationship involved in voice processing in primates brain.
🧠 I am interested in the #anatomy of the #brain, and more generally in its #evolution in different #species.
🥂 I also have a strong taste for #communication and science #vulgarization. I enjoy #social events and I like to organize #events for scientists. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗻!
