Der dritte Account der uns einfach gesperrt wurde, ohne Vorankündigung. So macht das hier alles keinen Sinn mehr. Instanzen blocken sich und User werden einfach gekickt, ohne dass man darüber spricht was das Problem ist.

People learned all the wrong lessons from Covid. Millions dead and countless variants is a massive failure. What we should learn is that, when the next pandemic hits, we have to deal with it much more aggressively. You only have a moment to close Pandora’s box so you have to do it right. As it happens, what we really need to learn is that that’ll never happen: the government showed us that we’re on our own, with pandemics or climate change or anything that’s not profitable to deal with.
Instead we allowed 'Rona - deniers and Antivaxxers to demolish the few yet very reasonable and scientific rules that were setup for EXACTY THIS KIND OF PANDEMIC!

It would've only been taken seriously with bodies piling up on the streets.

Is there an alternative fitness tracker solution that is better about data collection? I like the idea of tracking heart rate, steps taken etc, but I don't like what happens to that data once fitbit, samsung, or whoever get hold of it.
My stance towards Meta is that the Fediverse needs two types of servers:
Lobby servers that explicitly federate with Meta for the purposes of moving people from Meta to the rest of the Fediverse
Exit servers that explicitly defederate with Meta for the purposes of keeping portions of the Fediverse out of reach from Meta
Both approaches not only can co-exist with each other, they might just be complementary.
People who use Meta need a way to migrate towards a space that is friendly, easy-to-use, and allows them to port their social graph.
But People also need a space that’s free from Meta, and allows them to exist beyond the eye of Zuckerberg.
Guess what? People who use Meta now might want to be invisible to Meta later. And people who dislike Meta might need a bridge to contact friends and family through some mechanism that still allows them to communicate beyond Meta’s control.
Okay everyone must realize that the reason to commandeer all our important public information clearinghouses and sabotage them into the dust is not "stupidity," right?
