Roadrunner Detail - Here's that young roadrunner I found at Patagonia Lake, a friendly guy that came very close within just about 8 feet at this point. Unexpectedly, I got a photo of a round birb! Seen at Patagonia Lake yesterday, a very calm roadrunner approached, looking for treats. I shot maybe about 500 photos in 24 hours, am keeping about 200 to mess about with and here this silly little photo just tickles me enough I wanted to share it tonight.
Perspective truly matters.
Instead of a round bird, this is the same fellow. Whoa, surprised so many folks liked the birb photo! As some may have never seen a roadrunner, same guy seen in a typical pose. This time of year you can expect to see more #coyotes. Typically, they are nocturnal, but it is not uncommon to see them during the day. Merely seeing one is NOT reason to call the police. However, there are certain behaviors that are cause for alarm.
Specifically:
Coyote carrying a box marked ACME.
Coyote dropping an anvil from a hot air balloon Coyote posting signs such as "Detour" or "Free Bird Seed."
Coyote in possession of giant magnet.
Coyote in possession of a catapult.
Coyote detonating explosives or TNT.
Coyote launching itself with a giant crossbow.
Please contact the police department or animal control if you witness any of the above behaviors.
