The PS2 is one of the greatest game consoles of all time. Sony released the Automobile Color Collection in 2001 to commemorate the sale of the 20 millionth PS2 console sold worldwide. First after the shot of all five colors is the SCPH-30000 RSR Super Red. And then there are two angles of the SCPH-30000 RLY Light Yellow, the rarest of the collection.
I’m a sucker for nostalgia but very things get me the way footage of old #VideoGames from my youth does. I spent so much time playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 on the #PS2. Never noticed before, but the first 2 #PlayStation2 games I owned were both on CD. I guess thinking about it, Ridge Racer V isn't a huge game, but I'm pretty surprised that Tekken Tag Tournament fitted on a single CD. #RetroGaming
Playing Cave's early PS2 racing game Touge 3 , funnily released as Road Rage 3 in the west when the 2nd never left Japan & the 1st was called High Velocity.
It passes the vibe check with a smooth soundtrack and fun physics that lean somewhat towards sim but keep most of that arcade feel. The controls are good & you can calibrate almost everything you want. You can even adjust the front and rear spring rates to get the kind of control you want.

Da ich es damals auf der #playstation2 nicht spielen konnte (war meiner Mutter zu teuer) hole ich es nun endlich nach, in verbesserter Version sozusagen 😊👍

Je remets ce vieux thread sur de magnifiques covers de jeux vidéo. Pas envie qu'il disparaisse. A l'époque où j'étais en coloc avec L'aspi, on avait tout compilé dans un dossier une multitude d'illustrations très laides qu'on trouvait dans les magasins ou sur le net.
Je commence avec Snow White And The 7 Clever Boys, un jeu PS2, la contrefaçon de Phoenix Games:
On continue la thématique "Phoenix Games" avec la cover de Cinderella, toujours sur PS2. Les 2 jeux cités sont tout aussi douteux visuellement ingame, mais dans un style différent.
Peter Pan du même studio était pas mal aussi...
Et c'est marrant car, ingame, les jeux n'avaient pas du tout le même style visuel. En tout cas, ces 3 jeux là ressemblaient plus à des mini game (style puzzles, etc) dans un style graphique plus proche des Zelda foireux du CD-i.
Ce soir, ça sera surtout un hommage à Phoenix Games.
Je continue avec la cover de Cartoon Kingdom avec du dalmatiens Disney style sur la jaquette, mais aussi Coco Lapin, des souris dégueux sûrement là pour faire apprendre l'anglais aux enfants, sans oublier un smiley sous LSD.
