I’m using a shortcut to change my #MonaAppTheme when I open the app (shortcut circulated here a while ago). Worked great until recently, now I get a time out error for the #Mona get theme actions. I have quite a few #MonaTheme s installed, anybody encountered an upper limit yet? This is happening on iPad, haven’t tested iPhone or Mac yet. @MonaApp@chamona#MonaApp
Switching to a new server has forced me to investigate the #MonaApp for Mastodon in even more detail. It really is superb. Fully accessible with Voiceover and with a huge range of customisable options. Compared to when I set up my first account, Mona made it so easy to update my profile, upload profile pics and customise my settings.
I’d recommend this app to anyone, not just the visually impaired. Far & away the best Mastodon 3rd Party app I’ve used. @MonaApp #A11Y
@MonaApp I recall you added the feature to be able to navigate images using voiceover (live text etc) using the view media action. I am no longer able to do so. When I view an image using the view media action, I hear nothing. #monaapp#accessibility
Mona app users! I am really appreciating Mona’s “invert thread on timeline” feature! It’s something I never even knew I wanted, and now I’ll never go back. If you are like me, and scroll your timeline from older posts (at bottom) up to newer posts (at top), check it out. You can enable it under “settings” —> “advanced settings” and see if you like it!

@MonaApp has developed this super annoying glitch where I get an error message that an image didn’t upload but when I check my profile it turns out the image did upload. #MonaApp
I think there needs to be a more autonomous fediverse client that can integrate multiple accounts to restore a seamless unified experience in spite of defederations. Most apps let you switch accounts but it needs to merge their timelines and let you choose which one to reply and interact from. It would be great if @MonaApp could do this. Already, when pressing follow it prompts which account to follow with—this functionality seems like it ought to be consistent with other interactions; I think a touch and hold on the reply/favorite/boost/bookmark/etc buttons should open that prompt. With an aggregated home timeline that's pretty much it I guess! Man this is absolutely weird. I posted an Instagram link from #MonaApp earlier and it didn’t appear in the timeline. Posted again, didn’t appear. I get told (by a friend) that it is visible. I don’t even see the link(s) on my profile. Tried the Trunks Masto app, still can’t see them. HOWEVER I then downloaded the official Mastodon app and lo and behold I can see both links. What the heck is going on? A config setting somewhere to not show Insta links? @MonaApp any ideas? See screenshots.
Aber auch bei #Mona (oder ist #MonaApp der offizielle Hashtag?) ist es so, das die Funktion für Übersetzung nur für Tooth die man empfangen hat zur Verfügung steht, für Tooth die ich senden will muss ich weiterhin den Umweg über eine Drittapp machen. Okay so, I have been trying to figure out the multiple column view in @MonaApp. Are we not able to show multiple columns at once? Like home feed, notifications, etc.?
@MonaApp : is it planned for MonaApp to support the display of formatted toots? Currently, Mona silently drops any formatting, which is kind-of “not nice”. #MonaApp
