Automatische Erkennung der Sprache im Post kann #MonaApp aber weiterhin nicht. Und ich muss jedes Mal zum ändern der Post Sprache nach „Deutsch“ suchen. Schon umständlich.
#MoneyWhereMouthIs just bought @MonaApp#MonaApp for all my devices, because it’s a beautiful app, that makes Mastodon a pleasure to use. Also, it’s non-subscription, and I don’t do #SoftwareRental
I wish there was a button here that let you select from a set of your most recent posts and add to them, automatically creating a thread #MonaApp@MonaApp
@MonaApp I am loving the #MonaApp - it has the most customization features of any #Mastodon client I’ve used so far and it is delightful. If you are accepting feature requests I would love to be able to, when muting hashtags, to be able to not have them appear in my trending lists at all. Muting hashtags now still has them show up in that list, and there are probably around 10 or so very static feeling hashtags that I’d like to disappear forever. Perhaps this capability exists?
I've been using @IceCubesApp as my daily Mastodon app for a while, but have been playing around a bit with @MonaApp this week. It's been an interesting experience.
I think that Ice Cubes has the cleaner UI. Setting Mona's text spacing to Relaxed+ helped a bit, but I still find the timeline cluttered. I think it's due to the narrow spacing above and below the icons in each post; Ice Cubes has more room to breathe, here.
Hey @MonaApp I miss one thing in the App Store version, the "App Text Browser" from the beta so you could customize some terms to your own liking. e.g. ReBlog → Reboost
Would that be possible to make the beta feature available there too?
I know it was actually only intended to help with the translation.
Could #mastodon apps like #mastodonapp, #icecubesapp or #monaapp offer an option to pass on money from (optionally recurring) in-app purchases to the instance users chose?
I suggest a boost if you support the idea.
It’s been an exciting and eventful day - congratulations with the launch of @MonaApp on the Apple App Stores readily available for all to download. I hope you’re all discovering and enjoying the delights the app has been affording those of us that were using it during the beta testing.
Great work by @jonny_kuang building this app for mastodon. Truly great work.
I prefer the profile page shown by Ice Cubes.
Mona’s Composer lacks a language button!
Mona can do some things better than Ice Cubes, but some things less good. The differences are minor like for example as shown in the images. However. Mona is fluent on the Mac which Ice Cubes really struggles at.
The most versatile and customisable app - Mona for Mastodon is FINALLY out of Beta and available to the general public on the #iOS, #iPadOS and #Mac App Stores. #MonaApp
Posting from the official release of #monaapp. Just paid the “Mona Max” subscription. I’ve been using #Ivory on iOS/iPad and #Mona on the mac, but I’ll try this on the tablet and phone for a while. Eventually I’ll be able to try Ivory on the Mac. Don’t know where I’ll land but they both are fantastic apps. (I do find the beta of Mona on the Mac does not scroll as smoothly as I like, so we’ll see how that goes.)
i think i‘ve tried almost all mastodon clients for ios in the last couple of months and i‘m still hugely impressed what the mona app can do compared to all the other apps out there. it‘s so versatile and feature packed! not to forget the wonderful themes that are regularly available via @chamona
