RIP Mars, 2010 - 2024
This morning I found Mars run over by a car. I miss him very much. We got him from the shelter and he showed his gratitude every day. He was cuddly, playful, a rascal and very curious. Wherever I was, Mars wasn't far away and he spent many cuddly hours on my lap. I am stunned and incredibly sad. My heart is broken and I am crushed 🖤

@evelynefoerster It turned out yesterday, that there was a to be given away. She is very friendly and calm. We instantly decided to take her.

Her name was something like Nanya or some gibberish. Since we name or cats either after candy bars or ancient gods, we decided to call her Hera (the wife of Zeus). Mars was both a candy bar and the god of war. 🤣

That was perfect. 🤣 But it's all gone now. 😔@evelynefoerster and I had a perfect afternoon sunny chicken meal. 🤣

The chicken is ready to be served. It’s standing on its stand inside the now open Big Green Egg and waiting to be taken out.
The chicken was cut in halves and we both each had one half. The picture shows one half of the chicken on a plate, along with three roasted champignons.
All gone. This is the stand on which the chicken is positioned to be roasted equally from all sides. It’s more or less a cone formed by thick wires to hold the chicken upright.

Today is day. Today’s menu will be a , done at 170°C (~340 F), in about 70 miniutes until it reaches a core temperature of 73°C (~165 F).

We have no potatos and sweet pepper available right now, so we don’t follow the recipe 100%. But it will turn out great, this one is for sure. 🤣

Or is it a quarter of an hour and half a minute and 3.5 seconds, i.e. 18 minutes and 33.5 seconds after 9?

Hmm… 🤔 At least, this clock has a correct "IV” and not “IIII”. 🤣

Heute im Laden gesehen: Sluups, 60 ml .... ganz laut: 60 ml! Fuck! Wer zum Teufel unterstützt dies und kauft noch sowas? Wie blöd kann man eigentlich sein???? Wann hören wir endlich damit auf Plastik zu fördern und solche unnötige Sachen zu verkaufen? CHF 2.95 ...der Preis ist noch viel zu tief....Leute, wacht auf, hört auf solche Trends zu kaufen, überlegen bevor kaufen, egal was gerade "in" sein soll! Schwachsinn...nur noch what the fuck...oder?
