I built a new swift commandline tool to mount network shares. https://github.com/ehemmete/mountshare
At the most basic level it is run as mountshare "smb://server.domain.tld/share”, but there are lot of options to customize things if needed.
it is based on a lot of previous work by others in the community, so thanks to frogor/pudquick and mosen for a lot of the inspiration and code.

Today has been a brutal travel day. Flight to Newark diverted to North Carolina; was on ground for 4 hours, not much info. Looks like east-coast airports were a total mess.

Really miss the “don’t travel” days.

Thanks to iPadOS 17, I can see myself using my iPad Pro a lot more from now on. Stage Manager is much better, and it feels a lot better especially when using an external display.

I really want to build a Shortcut that lets you select text in Safari, generate a Text Shot, and then post it to Mastodon (with the highlight as alt text).
But I can't find a way to post all of this to Mastodon, or at least launch a URL with the contents prefilled. 🤔

@chrishannah yeah .. that makes sense as there’s a million variations on a theme.. ;)

On the mastodon question - probably solvable if you put an account feature in .. that wat you can setup the auth w a mastodon instance and get a token to post. Basically, replace Linky.. ;)
