Just pour your laundry soap out of a box or bottle.
@CelloMomOnCars Our #Miele washing machine has an automatic dispensing system called #TwinDos (sorry for advertising).
It is just great: extremely efficient as the machine automatically adjusts the amount of detergent according to the size of the load.
We buy liquid detergent in large containers (5-10 liters) and refill the tanks inside the machine every ~3 months. The large containers are also good for reducing plastic waste for packaging.

This around ½ to ⅓ of what a similarly featured #Miele or #Jura might cost.
And, this is the v2, after their first machine was (AFAICT) very well received. It has industrial design and digital integration that (to me) makes the big boys in this space seem downright stodgy by comparison.
Vermute, dass aufgrund der Wassersperrung heute vormittag mein #Miele DGC jetzt "F94" wirft (auch bei Entkalkungsversuchen, die er jetzt bei jedem Start startet).

Finally putting my x230 to rest, the last sudo poweroff. Hardware is failing beyond the point that makes continuing to repair it worthwhile.
On this laptop I deployed nearly 60 servers (most for at risk groups), 12 tech art projects (solo & collab, some toured worldwide), & gave many lectures & workshops.
If there was ever a loyal and electric steed, it was this x230. It ran #Debian & was good.

I asked on the #HomeAssistant discord about which of the #Miele integrations (available via #HACS) is recommended (from a stability and long-term maintenance perspective) and the answer was "whichever works for you" which, uh, isn't quite the answer I was looking for.

Ich habe gestern bei "ich bin doch nicht blöd" geguckt, beschloss aber anschliessend beim Laden um die Ecke zu schauen. Herr Lang arbeitet dort seit 40J und verstand mich sofort. Exzellente kurze Beratung (so wie ich es mag) und ich schlug zu.
Die neue Waschmaschine und der Trockner werden am Donnerstag geliefert und installiert.
Und bevor ihr fragt: diesmal habe ich keine Miele genommen, weil ich in 40 Jahren garantiert tod bin.
@jpmens ich hatte vor +10 Jahren den ganzen Haushalt mit #MIELE ausgestattet (Waschtrockner, Spülmaschine, Dampfgarer-/Mikrowellenkombi, Backofen, Dunstfilterhaube, Induktionsfeld) in der Hoffnung, mich erst in 20-30 Jahren wieder um solche Themen kümmern zu müssen.
Der Waschtrockner (der mittlerweile nur noch wäscht) hat in seinen ersten 10 Lebensjahren im Schnitt 1 Technikerbesuch pro Jahr gebraucht und besteht inzwischen aus mehr Ersatzteilen als Originalen.
Hier noch einmal gepostet da ich nun ein paar mehr deutschsprachige Follower und Metalheads habe 😉
Wer kann mir hier evtl. mal Tips zu #Miele - #Waschmaschine geben?
