Actually the only reason I notice is my screen/tmux sessions restart when I do login.

One of the most awful terms American English has made popular in the world is 'guys'.

I (literally but won't use that term here) cringe when I hear South Americans, Europeans, Asians, etc. say "hi guys" when encountering or addressing a diverse group of people.

Is there any way to swap / change icons of these output devices on macOS?

The Sennheiser are my headphones and the Soundcore is my speaker, but in the status bar they invariably have the wrong icon.

on macOS it's not possible, at least not in the BlueTooth menu

@doekman thanks for your suggestion, but I won't. First, it might break something and I'm too old for breakage. Second it'll likely be reset at next update which turns it into a never-ending story.

I betcha didn't know: "What a Diff'rence a Day Made", also recorded as "What a Difference a Day Makes", is a popular song originally written in Spanish by María Grever, a Mexican songwriter, in 1934 with the title "Cuando vuelva a tu lado" ("When I Return to Your Side") and first recorded by Orquesta Pedro Vía that same year.
