I am grateful for the opportunity to walk around the base of Mount Maunganui (Mauao) on such a beautiful day. I was very lucky to visit this beautiful place with friends in the weekend.
Hello, #Fediverse friends! Just got some wonderful news and wanted to share it with someone, and who better than you all. A dear friend who has been ill for a while has overcome their illness. We'll reunite tomorrow to celebrate together, but I'm bursting with joy already. Life has a way of bringing good news just when we need it most. #GoodNews#Celebration#Grateful
One of the things I've enjoyed about being here on #mastodon is how surprisingly positive and supportive it can be, just in general. I woke up this morning to a couple dozen (troll-free, it's important to note) notifications on a post celebrating a #sobriety milestone and it was a great way to start off the day in a #grateful way.
Glad to have found this place. Thanks to all that are doing their part to keep it this way.
Just came back from my quarterly rheumatologist appointment. The injections have worked 100%! Zero inflammation. I'm feeling better than I ever have, like I'm 30 again. Best gift ever. #grateful

This owl escorted us on our walk dusk. When we started heading back down the path it flew down within inches- felt like we were gonna walk into him!
Of course he was showing off that wing span for us all along the way up the path 😊 🦉 #Nature#Grateful
Saying g'bye to the last of the #pomegranates - one of the bright spots in the Season of Damp and Darkness - I happily spend time cleaning them, storing the bright seeds in my fridge for hot cereal, cottage cheese, yogurt, salads, or a handful tossed right into my mouth :o)
Our local market had the largest, heaviest pomegranates I've ever seen! Easily larger than a softball, and I just couldn't get enough of them. When their season is over, I know spring is on the way 💐
🎉 🎉 We are thrilled to share that the Threat Intel Community Portal has reached a significant milestone - 1,000,000 submissions!
And we want to say a massive THANK YOU.
In less than four months, we have received 1 million contributions of suspicious IPs, domains, URLs, and emails!
Whether from occasional contributors or organizations sharing large volumes of data via API, the mission is the same: to make the internet a safer place.
And believe us when we say every contribution counts, for it’s the diversity that adds to the strength of the community.
We owe this achievement to all our contributors, so please, take a bow and THANK YOU!
During the height of the pandemic, I got to go to #Work in person. I count my blessings, honestly, that I was not forced to #WFH.
I am also lucky that now I get to work from home sometimes. Just set up an actual work space for myself Monday night to see what all the fuss is about. :thonkpad:
Major #rain coming tomorrow - and yes, we need it, and Yay! I don’t have to go out in it unless I want to. #Blessed and #lucky and #grateful.
Let me tell you what a difference it makes when a medical office understands virus protection and mitigation techniques.
I just made an appointment for my dad regarding getting his new teeth fitted, first time at a specialist. Geared up for the usual damn conversation with a place we haven't been to yet....and the receptionist knew exactly what we were getting at after half the sentence.
"Oh, we all mask in here, the entire staff, and we have air filtration and purification in place. I can get you in first thing before anyone and on a day when just one hygienist is here."
That's all I ask for from a medical facility. Just to understand this basic stuff.

I work for the #NHS but don’t often have call to use it. #Tonight was a little different.
It involved three blue light transfers and several hours in #Resus.
I have never ever received such a timely and responsive service before, but when I needed it, it was there.
#Today is #Day241 of #365HappyDays and whilst my medical emergency is no reason to be #happy, the care and treatment I received most certainly is. I’m extraordinarily #grateful.
#Grateful for a decent night's sleep. Woke up a little migraine-y but I think that will lift once I get moving. I'm expected at the office for the 1st time in 2 weeks.
I spent a lot of my first #sober holidays in meetings instead of toxic family gatherings. If you are sober and struggling, or just need some company, many communities have 24 hour Alcathons you can attend. Check your local AA hotline for one near you.
