Hot take: 3rd person is completely superior to 1st person.
(Yet another reason I can't really enjoy #Cyberpunk2077 btw). I am not even one of those people who get motion sickness from games, but having your view limited to a widescreen monitor is like one step above climbing a tree in a knight's helmet.
Edit: I don't mind first person in #Fallout games, because I use VATS for 99.5% of all combat. I don't HAVE to see everything.
I stumbled upon an image of "If fictional corps would do pride month" with Umbrella Corp, Skynet, Black Mesa and more. And for some reason my brain went... ⬇️
That said, I'm pretty sure those corps are pro anything, as long as you have the Eddies to pay for it. Featuring Arasaka, Militech, Traumateam, Night Corp, Biotechnica and Petrochem.
Look, I still HATE clumsy writing of the "Character has a hard time limit In Story, but also just after we find out about that time we get all the side quests!"
The dumbest example is STILL #Cyberpunk2077 where you literally do not have access to the open world and 90% of the gameplay until AFTER you find out you will "absolutely certainly die in two weeks".
I guess I have to blame the idiotic writing on the #Crunch the management forced everyone thru? #Cyberpunk#RPG
I honestly never really introduced myself because I think I'm pretty bad at it since I don't have much to tell about myself.
My real name is Charline, I'm 30 years old and live in Germany. My very biggest hobby and passion is to play video games, preferably 24/7, but unfortunately I can't do that otherwise I'll shatter my biorhythm into little pieces. 😆
My current main game is #FFXIV (Final Fantasy XIV). I also play #NewWorld (if I have it installed, not anymore - needed space) and #TowerOfFantasy. I'm also a fan of the #DragonAge franchise, especially when I consider that I've been playing Dragon Age: Inquisition like a lunatic. I love to play #TheWitcher and #Cyberpunk2077 as well.
But these are not all games I have played so far in my life. There are a few more I could mention, but I don't want to stretch the introduction too much further. You could say as a conclusion that I'm very interested in #Gaming and you know what? You would be absolutely right.
Cyberpunk 2077 experience was subpar on the Steam Deck, the cause being It was damn near impossible to aim guns. It didn't help that aim assist for controllers simple doesn't work (c'mon, CDPR...)
Fortunately, while playing another game, I figured how to use trigger dampening with the gyro.
So the 🏍️ shop I go to is always slammed for work, so they have this thing:
1st come, 1st serve on Saturdays. Last time no one else even showed.
So I figure, “no prob”, I saw that #cyberpunk2077 was on sale on steam, so I buy it and I load it onto my #SteamDeck and show up at 7:30am (they open at 9am)
As I pull in there already another bike there, so fine. Then 3 more, so ended up hanging out and shooting the shit while we all waited for them to work on our bikes.
Trying something new this year to help beat the backlog. So this will be a thread of all the games i finish this year accompanied by a mini review of sorts :gamepad: #Gaming
At the end of my 40s I still love #VideoGames. I play on #XboxSeriesS and #GamePass (use cloud gaming while away) and increasingly on my beloved #SteamDeck for those sweet non-Xbox games.
Recently (last 12 months) (re-)played games include:
