Has anyone read this one? I loved Orwell's classic and will have to bump this up on my tbr list.
“Newman hasn’t proved herself a worthy successor to Orwell; she’s outclassed him, both in knowledge of human nature and in character development. Julia should be the new required text on those high-school curricula, a stunning look into what happens when a person of strength faces the worst in humanity, as well as a perfect specimen of derivative art that, in standing on another’s shoulders, can reach a higher plane.” — Los Angeles Times
People who review books on Amazon, can you tell me why this doesn't meet their guidelines? They won't publish it. Is it the word demonic? 'Cause I've used it before. Is it body? Should it be dead body, should I omit it? I'm at loss here. (My GR review of Thousand Autumns Vol. 3 by Meng Xi Shi)
I have some PDFs to read and review in the BookFunnel app (also saved to my Kindle). Is there a good way to make the text larger so I don't have to constantly slide the page back and forth? Both in "save to kindle" and in the app, I can't just make the text larger.
Would I be able to export from my Kindle to calibre to convert to epub via USB?
