Following yesterday's post, I found myself looking through some other photos from the same trip and came across this fine entry for #FensterFreitag. What a busy, blue feat of carpentry it all is. Would we call that a Moorish style, I wonder?
It was red rock country, all right, but not limited to that. The surface of the rocks and cliffs caught light, absorbed shadows, in such a way that an array of colors set forth before the viewer.
And they didn't just stay that way. As the light shifted and changed, so did the colors of the canyon.
Nature refuses to be circumscribed and classified.
It's World Turtle Day, so here's my favorite turtle picture I've taken to date! It's always fun to see a turtle on a dive, especially when they are chill or even curious about us. This individual in Bonaire was not bothered as I snapped some pictures against the backdrop of the beautiful blue water.
I'm really loving this color combination these days. Life is short, so I'm going to play with the colors I want to play with when I want to play with them.
