Atlas was a terrible movie, but if the producers rembraced it then it could have become a cult classic. Replace Sterling K. Brown with Shaq and Simu Liu with Bobby Lee. I love Shaq and Bobby Lee. Then it would be wildly entertaining. A fight between Shaq in that mech suit and Bobby Lee as an android would be so fun to watch. Also, kill off JLo in the first 5 minutes like Steven Seagull was in Executive Decision in 1996. At that point people were sick of him and seeing him fall to his death was so satisfying. #Atlas

I enjoyed it. Well, I enjoyed it while I also programmed on my second monitor. What I can say is that the plot is quite thin; the contrivances are quite contrived.
But what I saw was a more interesting film of childhood trauma and how it drives us as adults. The acting was critiqued on imdb, but I thought it was subtle, damaged, and the best part of the movie's themes.
