I've been working on an #activitypub application with some self-imposed ux constraints in regards to instance owners.

My main goals

1. Anyone with basic technical skills, in less than an hour, can set up an instance, and keep it running without sysadmin skills.

2. Besides the domain registration cost, most small instances should be free to host, and should not suffer from bad performance because of this.
