My nickname was borrowed from "Starship Troopers" - A military science fiction novel by U.S. writer Robert A. Heinlein. "roughnecks" is the name of the first Mobile Infantry Squad led by Rico. I'm still not sure why I chose a plural name for my persona; it's a bit odd, I reckon, but I got attached to it and it stuck.

hey @ente getting a self-hosted instance of ente server up & running was not easy, but we finally made it and have it working with an external S3 Object Storage! I hope your docs will improve over time; also thanks to the community which helped us :) @lorenzo

Offro alcuni servizi Internet ad amici e conoscenti - ad esempio indirizzo #email ed account #XMPP - ma è tutto a livello amatoriale, anche se ne vado piuttosto fiero. Quello che faccio lo faccio per passione e non per lucrarci sopra, ovviamente, ma qualche spiccio fa coomdo a tutti, specialmente se sei disoccupato. E non mi aspetto nemmeno di vedere un centesimo arrivare, quindi boh, è stupido/sbagliato? #aiutosegreto

    Grazie ai tantissimi che hanno partecipato al sondaggio, come mi aspettavo c'è stato un derby fra gli utilizzatori di #matrix e #Signal, mentre lo storico #XMPP mantiene una cellula attiva. #DeltaChat ha un piccolo zoccolo duro.

    Nulla contro Signal che è un ottimo Instant messenger ma uscire da Whatsapp/Telegram per rifugiarsi su un'altra soluzione centralizzata in cui c'è un solo padrone non mi pare un grande passo avanti.
