Three artists from art collective Creative Debuts have defended a mural it painted on a house in Ilford, England, paying tribute to Palestinian journalists amid calls for its removal from UK Lawyers for Israel.
Alia Shaikh, who owns and lives in the house, said she personally commissioned the piece because she otherwise “felt powerless” about the ongoing atrocities.
She said "They’re heroes. Without them, we’d have no idea what’s happening.”
Shot in our garden with a Speed Graphic 4x5 large format camera. I think the film was Delta 100, just by looking at the notch code plainly visible in the upper right corner. If anyone can verify that, I'd appreciate it.
Calandrinia (also called Rock Purslane) is an easy to grow succulent which produces gorgeous magenta flowers. I've seen this plant referred to as Cistanthe grandiflora as well. Very low maintenance, just give it room to spread and it'll be happy.
Tomorrow I get to do something fun: I get to lick the science!
My last bottle of DD-X developer expired (quite spectacularly, I had to get a hacksaw to open it and add it to the disposal container), but I've got ONE roll of film left to process.

Ascorbic acid powder (vitamin C)
Washing soda (sodium carbonate)
Two of those, are lickable. That's the delta recipe for #caffenol, although I'm using it for HP5+ not Delta, it's still effective. I could've gone with Caffenol-C-H instead but that needs potassium bromide which can't be delivered as quickly and I'm not a patient person (hah!)
The quality of the #ilford#hp5 is incredible, love the grain, which is a lot more controlled than the #3200 (which is still my favorite for artistic photos but not for day to day shooting). Ghostly Wheel — Here's a self-developed photo from a little while ago, taken around Oct 22. I was looking through film negatives tonight and this one popped out as somewhat interesting to me. I recall thinking back then it was nothing special, but I felt it was worth another look so I popped it in the scanner.
Very excited to get my first scans back after an impulse purchase of a very-vintage Yashica A TLR last year. Thanks to filmdev.co.uk for their rock solid processing & scanning.
Auf dem Dach des Parkhauses hat man einen feinen Ausblick. Der eine Sonntag, an dem es in Wien Schnee gegeben hat, war der ideale Tag, um vom Dach das Parkhauses aus Aufnahmen von der Umgebung zu machen. Hier sieht man die blendend ausgeleuchtete Skyline von Neuleopoldau, schön umfasst von der, von italienischen Kriegsgefangenen errichteten, "Italienerschleife". Man sieht also einen Teil meines täglichen Arbeitsweges, von der S-Bahn-Station Siemensstraße in die Neubausiedlung. Ganz hinten erkennt man das Fernwärmekraftwerk der Wien Energie und damit ebenso die Begrenzung der alten Industrieanlage vom Gaswerk Leopoldau, welches im Prinzip das gesamte Gelände hinter der Bahntrasse umfasst hat. Das war richtig groß.
