2. My A/C worked fine at first usage (since fall) last night. Triple digit temps on their way next week.

The main body of the screen is teal, with a cloud framing the top and across the bottom. 49 dancers are on the top cloud, quite small, doing their thing. The new dancer for this week is larger, and centre stage on the cloud at the bottom, with a dancer either side for company.

Aspen Stand

This image was captured while hiking the Maroon Bells area outside Aspen Colorado. The Maroon Bells in the autumn was sort of one of my bucket list items. I found my opportunity and I was not one bit disappointed.
This stand of Aspens was located halfway up the slope of the Elk Mountains. I played with a square crop and really liked the results.

i waited for over 12 years for artist Lyndal Osborne’s handcrafted imaginary bio organisms to come back to the Alberta Gallery of Art, and they finally did. she taught at UofA, and her works always give expression to the oceanic palette of her childhood home in NSW, Aus.

this exhibit is composed of handmade seeds, blown up 10000x their size, as if through a microscope

if you happen to be in edmonton, drop by the AGA to see this piece - it is up on the third floor.
