The German decision to ban !! Varoufakis from speaking about politics or having any political activity in the country is an absolute abomination.
Besides all obvious reasons connected to the fundamental EU principles regarding freedom of speech, it indicates a complete disregard for what we may call the civil or public space or sphere.

It is an incredible moment of a nation sliding into reactionary totalitarianism. And it is also plain stupid
