It''s unlikely the New York City Department of Probation interview of Trump to provide Judge Merchan information about his mental health is going to be like the "difficult" cognitive test he swears he "aced" some four years back.

It will very likely be the first time a mental health professional has ever taken even a cursory look at him.

Trump is doing a damned fine job of promoting the idea that there should be a National Day of Rest once a week. We just need to agree on day other than Sunday and on that day all of us are spared listening to his shit for a full 24 hours.

Look I get the "sad day for the country" thing and part of me shares that, but I also get the "damn, just when I'd lost all hope the legal system would ever hold this guy accountable, the system proves itself stronger than him."

There's a relief here that goes beyond Trump and it's because we finally have proof that he's not untouchable.

@davemark Apple's keyboard will be virtual. People who can't learn to touch type on a bare table or in the air will have to get the new Apple Vision Air glasses that will also be foldable - just like my current glasses.

Do you have any idea how much this country would change if, say voter turnout in November increased five percent from 2020? About 67% of eligible voters cast ballots then - and that was considered huge. Check out this piece from 2020.

@davemark correct me if I'm wrong, but has Apple started using the iPad to debut new hardware that presumably will end up in iPhones, MacBooks and iMacs? Sure felt that way to me watching yesterday's event. Starting to feel like the iPad with keyboard is on track to replace laptops for most use.

Judges w disclosure issues incl some big names.

Aileen #Cannon, currently presiding over #Trump’s docs case, attended 2wk-long seminars at lux resort near Yellowstone Nat Park...failed to upload disclosure w/in 30 days as required.

Court said it was an “inadvertent” omission.

@dbc3 @GottaLaff @bronakins I monitor your feed while also keeping open a tab from NYT & honestly what you aggregate is more thorough, generally put up faster. As for "only my followers see" that's not actually true on Mastodon. I know this because I regularly get comments and shares from people who clearly don't follow me, & they come so fast I know it's not because they saw it thanks to a follower. You're providing an immense service and I thank you for it.
