And yes, both authors conclude that King was a bona fide #AntiSemite, neither of them granting a man of his education and experience a pass for being a product of his #xenophobic, intolerant times. He did make the state a lot better, but it's to such a degree that people have swarmed the state and people are now complaining that the cost of living is too high. Between that and the authoritarian/pseudofascist way he likes to address culture war issues (banning handing out #Nazi pamphlets in public, punishing #Disney for being woke, etc.), I don't think #DeSantis should be too closely emulated.
@BobaFuttbucker I think it's not smart to make sweeping statements like "everyone in this group is bad". Nazism is bad, and if you had to draw #Nazi names out of a hat, you'd probably find a bad person 9 out of 10 times.
The analogy isn't broken, you just don't like it because you disagree with the conclusion. In your mind, the threat of Nazis can't possibly be exaggerated, because you REALLY don't like them. I don't like them either, but that doesn't make them the greatest threat known to man.
I don't need a judge to know the #AfD party in #Germany is a #fashist threat. This party upholds an ideology of "ethnopluralism" which is basically the #nazi race ideology for the modern era. Also, many of its members are also deeply hostile to the #LGBTQIA+.

He called on college presidents to “remove the encampments immediately, vanquish the locals & take back our campuses for all of the normal students.”
