@CurtAdams @Vivaldi I've been happy with DuckDuck - my results for Google have not been good as late. We have an electric car and had to make a trip from Chicago to Akron. Google was not our friend in trying to find chargers.

In fact, the results were criminally bad.

Trying to transition from all things Google. This is just a start.

@rebeccawatson Unfortunately, most people have no idea how much you have to hustle to make a life in another country when you don't have the luxury of working remotely from your home country, may be undocumented, and have to live a spartan existence to send money back home.

Not to even get into paying taxes you'll never see in government services.

@rebeccawatson I liked the video - as usual, you teased out a lot of nuance on a hot topic.

I often find myself somewhere in the middle - I've used an electric mower ever since I owned a home (it's easier and cheaper now). I've chosen not to mow as often and to start removing large parts of grass to create a garden and small path.

Nothing is all-or-nothing — people can take smaller steps that add up to something.

@Lizette603_23 When people ask me about my relationship with Connections, I always reply, "It's complicated".

Seriously, sometimes I really enjoy it and other times I'm stumped. Wordle is still my first love. My son accuses me of cheating since I use a spreadsheet and the process of elimination. I still love that feeling when through deduction, you confidently type in the word, knowing you've solved it.

Trump is upset he may miss his son's graduation because he's on trial.

Yeah, we do treat people in the criminal justice system harshly. People you have never thought about, people who have kids, and graduations, and moments missed forever.

Great article by MSNBC's Ja'han Jones. It's almost like a form of institutionalized racism to give voice to outliers among Black Americans so the media can sell a clickable story about Black Americans supporting TFG, while everyone who lives in sane America is all WTAF?!

Another obnoxious thing are the reasonings they give for 'Black voters for TFG' - 'can relate to his criminality'. Who approves this shit?!

I was pregnant with twins and bedridden during the entire O.J. trial. I watched every minute of it. Punditry became a thing since there was wall to wall, never ending coverage. In my mind, it was the beginning of the end for cable news.

@StillIRise1963 @StevenSavage We were having a party and I just turned on the TV for a few minutes to see how the NBA playoffs were going. At one point, we had the playoffs on one part of the screen, a video feed of the slow chase scene, and announcers in another corner.

If we had a televangelist in another corner of the screen we'd have America, circa 2024.

That night I saw the future.

It was not good.

We started watching this on Netflix. I'm really surprised at how good it turned out to be!

BTW, the title alien watches a fuck-load of TV - just like most people.

It's funny, absurd, and at times poignant. Much better than it had to be.
