Times weren’t better back then. You were just in your carefree youth and are missing that time now. We tend to claim that music, fashion, TV, and society peaked when you were in your teens. It’s not the world it’s you that you are melancholic about.

Unless you were deemed to need a special school there was no additional support in school. No teaching assistants at all in mainstream schools. Autism was something only white boys with severe learning disabilities could have. ADHD diagnosis did not exist. You were just a naughty child and not supported. I grew up with a lifetimes worth of trauma as a result. Home & school left me with trauma & mental health problems.

They might be putting getting food to the people before that. After all if the claims about UNRWA were a smear, and I'm not sure whether Israel provided any proof of its claims, it resulted in funding being cut & Israel has been making it more difficult for UNRWA to operate than them (not that they have it easy as no aid agency does).

I suspected that was the case and I know Israel has been using starvation as a weapon of Genocide. I was just trying to see it from a potential perspective the aid agency might have.

I'm astounded at how common Long COVID is, how little we talk about it, and how many ignore what it means. Discussions I've had in the past two weeks because I probed #COVID19 topics:

  • Guy tells me his wife has Long COVID for a year. A week later, he posts photos from a crowded, indoor concert.

  • Friend tells me he's had mild Long COVID for 2 years. Also says he's "moved on" and doesn't consider COVID risks any longer.

This is not going to end well. Here's what I foresee in the future: (1/3)
