Urocza książka, typowa młodzieżówka "guilty pleasure", którą czyta się z bananem na twarzy i wierzy, że wszystko skończy się dobrze. W tym ta lektura jest znakomita - nie oczekujcie po niej ambicji, niespodziewanych zwrotów akcji itd. Raczej dajcie się ponieść urokliwości historii i efektowi "aaaaaaaw". Mnie się podobało, ale jestem dużym dzieckiem.
Seria "Harry Potter", "Zmierzch" i "Igrzyska Śmierci" - to tytuły, które przychodzą mi na myśl, gdy myślę o książkach, które stały się popularne wśród młodzieży i stanowiły dobry materiał do ekranizacji, osiągając tym samym światowy sukces jako marka. Cykl HP to dla mnie absolutna legenda i ponadczasowa seria (książki, choć filmy też niezłe). "Zmierzchu" czytać i oglądać nie zamierzam. Natomiast chciałem sprawdzić "Hunger Games" i... no tak średnio bym powiedział. Ekranizacji nie widziałem, ale wierzę, że może być dobra. Książka - nie bardzo. To esencja młodzieżówki, ale w tej raczej złej formie. Choć widzę po ocenach na LC, że jestem w tym odosobniony.
Stanowski już zrobił swoją orkę, wiec przyszła pora na mnie, choć tak naprawdę ta ksią... to opowiadanie nie zasługuje na orkę. Jest po prostu rozczarowaniem ze względu na kierunek fabularny oraz wydanie. Stylistycznie i klimatycznie trzyma poziom pierwszej części i mam nadzieję, że pełnoprawny drugi tom (jeśli powstanie) będzie bliższy pierwszemu niż... tego.

I keep dusting off a story I originally started as a short when I was in high school. I’ve rewritten the easiest completed parts a couple of times, and continue to add to it over time. I was fully planning on diving in to finally finish it this summer. Now I’m thinking once again about putting it on the back burner. I’ve got 2 competing ideas floating in my heads. My New Roommate is a #NewAdult book, and has some heavy and graphic sex scenes, including with April. The Challenges of Being Me is #youngadult and Lauren is very wholesome, which she also was in the first book. April’s story will have to be sex-heavy too, as that was a plot point of the first book.
