Hey friends! I finally wrote about my second attempt to get a #photo of the frozen #waterfall
Unfortunately, it wasn't THAT frozen anymore - but ... wasn't it even better?! I wrote down the story in my blog and this time I also uploaded the photo to FineArtsAmerica if you think about having a print of it.
The last two #photos from my photowalk in January! I rarely do macros but that day I wasn't out for hiking but really for #photography. So I thought, I could also step down into the frozen stream, take some time and look for tiny structures.
Needless to say that I was super happy that I witnessed this frozen #waterfall , right? It was really amazing. Especially as I also remember it in the rain!
This is the Red River of the North that divides #NorthDakota and #Minnesota, seen from Edgewood park today in #Fargo. We took advantage of todays snow storm to finally strap on the snowshoes. This record warm #winter hasn't provided plentiful opportunities for outdoor fun. But today was a good time.
For #MountainMonday - The moon rises over Mount Blanshard from Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada.
I wasn't planning this, but apparently others were (back in 2008) as I recall photographers in small groups along the side of the road waiting for the moon to rise. I had no idea what that might be about until it came up over the mountain.
