The USS ALBACORE (AGSS 569) is an experimental #submarine built in 1953. Designed with an innovative teardrop hull form, she serves as the prototype for all modern-day submarines in the #USNavy. In 1986 she was dry-locked at #AlbacorePark and was officially opened to the public!

In 2014, I made a steampunk submarine costume for my son's wheelchair. When the chair was in motion, the pinwheel twirled, the wheel's design spiraled, and the periscope was retractable. According to Gasgrid Finland, the only possible reason for the unusual pressure drop in the Balticconnector pipeline is a hole in the pipe, which has only been in use for a few years.
Personal note: I'm assuming that the fact that there's a need for an announcement, is an indication of sabotage being suspected.

I left my #submarine in 1992 and there are things I still won't tell people about missions, operational parameters, etc.
Yet this chucklefuck just goes about disclosing national security details to a foreign national because he's a blowhard and a narcissist. He doesn't give a damn about the safety of our #military. He is completely unqualified to be Commander-in-Chief.

A mysterious golden orb that may be an egg laid by an unknown sea creature has been discovered on the ocean floor off the #Pacific coast of Alaska.
The smooth object with an intriguing hole at the centre was found at a depth of about two miles by a remote-controlled #submarine explorer.
