My entry for the Folio Society Book Illustration Award ☠️🌸🔪
This one was very personal. I'm a longtime fan of @neilhimself, possibly the nicest man on the planet and an astonishingly good writer.
So many artists and illustrators who have influenced me went into this. There's a lot of me in in two, parts of it are old art I drew nearly 2 decades ago.
Looking for book recommendations, similar to #TerryPratchett or #NeilGaiman. We really like their charm, wit and humour, and enjoy their quirky characters and world building. (Urban) fantasy prefered.
The Locus Fundraiser Auction HAS ONLY ONE MORE DAY! Go check it out. There are some very special collector items, and all proceeds will go to support Locus!

3/4/24 — Open 6-9p. Mask recommended. No open drinks please.
The groundhog was right. It's a beautiful here. I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to buy books today. Still, I'll be putting cool stuff out, like these...
From @scalzi: "If it makes these folks feel better to think that I'm a part-time writer, fine. In which case, I'm a part-time writer who doesn't have to have another job. That's actually pretty cool. Also, if typing is all you think qualifies as writing, well, okay. That's a choice you can make."
Neil gaiman posted this-
Posting this for the people who think that Tolkien's world-building was something complete and entire and finished before he started to write.

"The Worlds of Terry Pratchett" — a discussion with Rob Wilkins and Neil Gaiman about Terry #Pratchett.
A really worthwhile listen, especially if you are a Pratchett-enjoyer. There’s also some lovely chat about collaborative writing and some moving insights into a unique writer.
